Almost a month!

So, this Friday, in 2 days, I will have been here for a month! It's super crazy! It definately hasn't felt like that long at all! I feel like I can say I have been really busy but that wouldn't be the exact truth. I didn't start school until this Monday, so that ment three weeks of me basically being lazy and watching american tv during the days. I have started figuring out my way around more, and seeing a lot of cool things. Every Tuesday, AFS has Swedish lessons, and the one last night what really fun. We went to the Kulturhusset (Culture House) and had a scavenger hunt. Of course all the questions were in Swedish, which was the real challenge. It was really fun, and I feel like I learned some new words, and some stuff about the culture. Emelie, my liasons daughter, so technically she's basically my liason also, met me there, and she is just so nice, it's really easy to talk to her about any questions I have or anything.
Swedish food- truthfully not as bad as I was expecting. We don't have fish all that often, actually I never have fish. But I do try everything. That includes reindeer, a squid and olive mixture thing, shrimp with some wierd sauce and popcorn, and lamb sausage. The lamb sausage was actually really good, and the reindeer was okay, but I'd rather not talk about the other two. I have found the cereal Nick use to send us, and that Donnie brought back with him, and I have it almost every day for breakfast. I also found skippy peanut butter, but it tastes different but it's still okay.
School the last two days have gone really good, I was so nervous before I started, and now I realize I didn't need to be. Everyone is extremely nice and helpful. I feel really bad because everyone has to speak english with me, and most people don't mind, but there is a girl that refuses to speak english. I have made some friends, and Isa (short for Isabelle) loves speaking english, so it's good for me right now, but when I switch to only Swedish around christmas it might be hard. Everything is definately more laid back here and the schedules are really different. Some days I don't have to start until 12:30 and other days at 8! Somedays I stay until 2:30, and other days almost 5. There are huge breaks between some classes, on wednesdays I have 2 and a half hours between two of my classes. My classes are of course all in Swedish, so it's pretty challenging.
I will post more on another day, sorry this is kind of short!
