That's Swedish for hello for those of you that don't know. :)
The countdown begins. I can officially say this year I'm going to Sweden yada yada yada... and so on. Pretty exciting eh? I'd have to say so.
Well I have officially been accepted by AFS last Monday. They sent my application to Sweden. That takes about 4-6 weeks until they decide if I'd be able to be placed and that's what they base on whether I get accepted or not. Most likely I will though sense I'm not all that crazy.
Umm, I've started getting things together already, got a new pair of shoes and a pack of socks already put in pile. I've been attempting to practice Swedish when I can. This weekend I'm going to put some swedish teaching cds I burned onto the computer on my mp3 player so I can listen to it whenever. I realized I've been going on Nicks facebook, the Swedish kid that stayed with us a couple of summers ago and seeing if I can understand any of his updates. I've been failing misserably. I can recognize, I, you and and mostly and then I get all lost. I'll get there someday. :)
That's all I have to say for now.
So excited for you, but sad for me. I am going to miss you like crazy while you are gone!! Maybe we need to find a place where we can take Swedish lessons! :)
